As far as boat ramps go, there is a good one in front at olivia Pretty sure there is still one a little ways up the creek at a bait camp (haven't used it in years) As for carancuhua, it has very limited access unless you are willing to run a good ways. The best areas i've found are salt and redfish lake on the west side although you will need a kayak or boat to get there
Just down the road is keller bay (olivia) which has much better fishing There is also multiple areas you can wade fishing from the bank I'll attach a video below if a wade we had in keller just off the kayak launch. There is a public boat ramp on hwy 35 just before you get to cape carancahua
